Working on the handloom, Efrain Curi creates an optical illusion while combining various images from his Quechua culture. Born in the state of Huancavelica of Peru., he first learned the flat weave technique in his uncle's workshop, in what is a family craft. He prefers natural fibers such as wool and cotton tinted with natural and artificial dyes. His tool is the handloom and he usually weaves in the company of his family.
