Dumbarton Oaks Web Shop: Shipping & Handling Policies

Pick-up is an option for local customers. Orders can be picked up at the front desk of 1703 32nd Street, NW,  during museum hours, and 24 hours after receipt of a confirmation email. Specific pick-up times can be arranged via email at Shop@doaks.org. Please check the website for Museum and Shop hours. After two days, the order will be stored in the Museum Shop.

Currently we ship only in the Continental United States.

We make every effort to ship your order as quickly as possible.

In-stock items will usually ship within 2 to 3 business days.

Standard shipping time to addresses within the continental United States is 3 to 10 business days. Due to COVID-19 and increased shipping volumes during the holidays, please allow extra time for shipping.

We do not currently offer Expedited Delivery orders.

*Fragile items that do not fit into standard Priority boxes will have a $12 charge added after purchase for special packing. This will be noted with an asterisk at the bottom of the description
