Crescent Peacock Pendant

Based on a classic earring design from the Byzantine era, they are unique in their use of beaded wire, which accents the cross and crescent shape with sophisticated interpretation of a peacock.   This example is from the Virginia Museum of Fine Art, but is similar to examples found in the Dumbarton Oaks Collection.

Materials:  Bronze with Russian gold finish.

Pendant diameter:  1” with an 18” chain.
