Cross-stiched Eyeglass Casa, Gaza

Cross stitched in a traditional pattern on both sides, this case works for either glasses or cellphones.   The artisans who embroider these pouches are supported by the Sulafa Embroidery Centre, a United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestinian in the Near East initiative (UNRWA) initiative.

Sulafa helps the women of Gaza refugee camps preserve the traditions and culture of embroidery, make a living for their families, and pass these essential skills from one generation to the next.
