Egytian Handwoven Bamboo/Viscose Scarf

These light and soft scarves are handwoven by artisans in the Egyptian rural village of Nagada.

Named after an agricultural town on the west bank of the Nile River, in south of Egypt, the town of Dandarah is situated among several major centers for artisans of different traditional crafts.  The company Dandarah is a woman-owned fair-trade group based in based in Canada, specializing in the arts and crafts of Egypt.
