Tunis Village, in Fayoum Egypt is renowned for their pottery techniques that are recognized internationally as a signature of Fayoum and Egyptian craft. Using foot spun pottery wheels and dung fired kilns, the artisans use the colors, animals, and vegetation in their environment as hand-painted design elements for their beautifully worked ceramics. The clay, paint and glazes are all imported from Europe and are all food safe. Not microwave or dishwasher safe.
