These purses are small, but make a big statement. Sown by hand with natural silk thread. The artist of this fine embroidery is Gulnora Odilova. Born in the ancient city of Shakhrisabz, in the Kashkadarya region of Uzbekistan. She is the fourth generation of her family to continue the making embroidered accessories in the Shakhrisabz Iraqi tradition. Gulnora established her own school of embroidery, and sells and exhibits her work all over the world.
